Drawing New Zealand & Australian ground spiders under the guidance of Dr. Zakharov in the division of Invertebrate Zoology. The Arachnology Lab at the American Museum of Natural History, featured here, houses the world’s largest collection of spiders.

Stink bugs can in fact release an unfortunate smelling odor from special thoracic glands when threatened. This smell sends a chemical message to other stink bugs, warning them of danger and helps to deter predators.
